Tips, corrections and advertising

Three doors, one desk. Something we should look into, a figure we got wrong, or a business conversation: all of it lands directly with the people who run this masthead. For tips and corrections your name and email are optional; if you work in the sector, we understand exactly why you might leave them blank. What helps most is somewhere we can verify the claim, because nothing runs here until we have checked it against primary sources, and we never publish anything about an individual participant.

Send a news tip

A provider change the record has not caught up with, a dataset doing something odd, a consultation the sector should know about, an instrument commencing quietly, a pricing line item that does not add up. Point us at it. A tip is a lead, never a source: we verify everything independently against primary sources before a word is published. If your tip is about an individual’s care or story, we will look for the systemic issue behind it, because we do not report personal stories.

Source protection, plainly: we do not require identity, we do not publish tips, and anything you attach is stored privately and deleted after 30 days.

Request a correction

If a fact on this site is wrong we want it fixed fast. Tell us the page, the claim and, ideally, the source that shows the error. Every correction is checked against the cited primary source before the page changes, and corrections are noted on the page.
